Jake Foster, Founder and Principal Consultant

Jake has more than 15 years' experience building great software, great teams and great companies. In his role as Principal Consultant for Cleverbox Jake has held several executive positions including CTO and Chief Architect with day one start-ups as well as providing critical technology guidance and hands-on software delivery to large enterprises. Jake has also worked with leading growth-stage investment firms to evolve standards for technical due diligence in the private equity industry.

Prior to founding Cleverbox Jake held a variety of software development and engineering leadership roles with a diverse range of companies including start-ups such as Medivation and RelayHealth, and Fortune 15 companies like McKesson Corporation. Jake has extensive experience in healthcare technology but has worked in a variety of industries including enterprise infrastructure planning, consumer mobile, social networking and VoIP.

David Weinstein, President of Extropy Health, has 20 years' experience in healthcare innovation, healthcare economics, strategic planning, business and product development experience. Dave has played instrumental roles in many healthcare startups including eScript, a pioneer in electronic prescribing where he was President and CEO, SureScripts the nation's largest electronic prescribing network, where he was founding President and CEO, and Chartscape, an oncology enterprise electronic health record system where he was founding COO. At RelayHealth (formerly Healinx), where he was Senior VP of Sales, Business Development and Planning, Dave spearheaded empirical research supporting the value of online patient-physician office visits — the first significant manifestation of today's fast growing telehealth market. Dave founded Mirixa, a leading provider of medication therapy management solutions to pharmacists, where he also served as Chief Strategy Officer. Dave has a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Sonja Cary is a healthcare technology product management and marketing specialist with over 15 years of experience. Sonja translates business needs into workflow solutions and enhances the communications between business program owners and solution providers. Sonja was the Product Management founder at Mirixa, a pharmacy case management solutions provider. She was Director of Product Management at RelayHealth, with responsiblity for doctor-patient messaging, integrations and payor programs. She has also provided product management consulting for McKesson US Pharma, Healthy Communities Institute and PipelineRx.

Bob Durrant has been developing software for over 20 years working as a developer, architect and team lead. He has worked across multiple industries including finance, healthcare, and biometrics for companies such as JP Morgan Chase, Lloyds, Conifer Securities, McKesson, L1 ID (Safran), and several successful start-ups. Bob has worked internationally in San Francisco, London, and New Zealand, worked for several years on european money conversion for JP Morgan London, was a senior engineer in the development of the world's fastest iris matching system, and was the architect and team lead for the development of a device based multi biometric information system for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Bob is a hands on developer who is experienced with high performance multi-threaded servers, embedded software, and scalable web-based platforms.

Jason Fischl is a hands-on serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in the VoIP and Cloud Technology spaces. He has co-founded four technology companies. Most recently, Jason was a Senior Director at Skype where he led a program to reproduce all Skype functionality in a clean room (complete isolation from Skype and eBay). Subsequently, he built and managed the Product and Engineering teams responsible for Skype’s next generation, cloud-based architecture to provide web APIs to reach hundreds of millions of Skype users.

David Sutter Glickman has over 15 years’ experience in all facets of systems and network design, deployment and support. David has built secure, stable and scalable infrastructures for both early-stage startups and publicly-traded international companies across a range of industries needing to scale their internal and external systems to execute on aggressive growth plans. He has expertise in traditional data-center based implementations as well as managed hosting and cloud services including AWS. David is CISSP certified and has worked for a broad range of companies including Compaq, Roxio, Mirixa, Granicus and Scientific Learning. Passionate about security, availability, and scalability, his architectural approach is focused on being simple and supportable. David's "in the trenches" experience provides a unique perspective on the demands of real-world IT operations.

Jason Mongue has delivered sophisticated software solutions to his clients, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, for over 15 years. His experience includes building prototypes and mission critical software systems alike. While primarily utilizing the latest Microsoft technologies he has also built native iOS and Android mobile applications. Googling his name will reveal that he is also a semi-professional photographer and filmmaker, using his nights and weekends to shoot at 50,000+ person music festivals, and working with non-profits building schools in rural central American communities.
